It's been a few weeks (months?), but my buddy and I finally got back to Space Station Zero. I'll try to keep things vague as not to spoil anything, but just in case you've been warned!

Black Crak'in and Mates - Orktober 2022

Happy Orktober! If you recall, last year I painted up Captain Mogran and his crew of mercenaries. Since then I played a few games and collected a few more orks to fill in some gaps. What better time than now to paint up the new additions?!

We Found Ourselves on Space Station Zero...

I'm big fan of co-op gaming. Adversarial is fine, but I'm more into story telling. So if you can do so with a coop rule set all the better.

When Snarling Badger Studios revealed their new game Space Station Zero on August 26th, I had to have it. It's a skirmish game with solo, coop, and adversarial rules, and it all takes place on a mysterious space station you've found yourself drawn to. My buddy and I immediately started planning to play a game, and then coincidently the hard copy showed up on September 2nd. So we gave it a go:

 Happy Halloween everyone! Though with that comes the close of Orktober. The good news is I've completed the project and finished the final members of the crew:

Orktober 2021 - It's Not Easy Being Green

Did you ever start spending so much time in an area, things start bothering you and you have to make changes? Happens to me a lot, and this past week it was the basement hobby area I call The Pitt (like G.I. Joe). I organized my video game closet, tore out some old wood supports for a long gone drop ceiling, removed some old furniture that didn't belong, and tossed out a bunch of stuff. Hopefully in anticipation of playing some games soon!

Then I recalled it was Orktober and I had a mission. Here's the results:
