Runs like New - Industrial Robots

After playing a few games of Space Station Zero, we learned the main enemies in the game are robots who were left behind in depths of the station. In our games past games we utilized some of the BattleTech miniatures I have painted up. While they work just fine, I've been wanting to paint up some of my collection of robots as you may have seen over the past few posts. These bots are a little bit different...

So I hear you're in the market for some robots... we're sure to have something to fit your needs.

Fall of the Apes - Part 1

One of the inhabitants of the forests of Locust 4 are the Squatches. Rumor is they were brought here as laborers, however they are much more cunning than they first appear and eventually won their freedom. Despite looks they are a rather advanced species who prefers to live in harmony with nature. However when push comes to shove they will brandish a weapon like any other to defend their own. As such, these days can be found among many crew's working from the Locust sector... and in some instances running as a full pack.

It's been over a year since I backed the Space Apes III kickstarter by Adam Devitt. Being a fan of all things scifi I knew they'd be a great addition to my collection. Planet of the apes, Wookiees, Yeti's, Bigfoot; there's plenty of reasons to have some scifi apes in the collection. So it was about time to put some paint on them and get these guys to their intended use!

Black Crak'in and Mates - Orktober 2022

Happy Orktober! If you recall, last year I painted up Captain Mogran and his crew of mercenaries. Since then I played a few games and collected a few more orks to fill in some gaps. What better time than now to paint up the new additions?!

October Terrain

Finished up a little piece of terrain the other day. It's some sort of boiler, or tank... or something. Just glad to fit in something to keep up with the monthly terrain output.

Dunger Crossing

 Citizens take warning! This area is a known path for wild Dungers. While normally docile, Dungers can be very dangerous if provoked. It is recommended that you steer clear of them for safety. Thank you for your cooperation. 

Great models full of character!

Spent some time visiting family recently, and so the next Summer of Eldar models aren't quite ready yet. While you wait here are some more models I finished while waiting for others to dry. 

A Couple of Spacers

In seedy dive bars across the sector a rumor is stirring. They whisper that several heroes of the Last War are banding together. There are all sorts of theories as to why, but they all have one thing in common: Hope.

A few weeks ago Axiom at Magpie and Old Lead painted two figures just because he felt like it. After finishing up the guardians I felt like painting more. I had these two figures sitting there... so I thought I'd follow suit.
