Dusting off the Cobwebs

Hello fellow hobbyists! It's been a little bit since I posted. I ended up with a herniated disc that prevented me from... well life in general. Never fear, a wonderful medical team helped me get back to semi normal. Still working on the rest. 

So finally after weeks of collecting dust, I resumed some hobby projects! I picked a few easier ones off my desk, figures I had started while waiting for a larger group to dry. Thought it was better to ease into things after a hiatus. So lets get to it:

Indigenous Life Forms

The untamed planet of Locust 5 is home to all sorts of indigenous life forms. Among them are the scouts of the Saffron Tribes. These low tech tribes have used their psychic gifts to help them see a better path. That there is more to gain by acting as guides to prospectors who arrive to their planet than fighting against them. 

A couple of bounty hunters broker a deal with some local scouts. 

Knocked a few quick models out this week. Meant for more background NPC types... but cool effective models in my opinion. More after the break.

Hitting the Mark

With the completion of the Ork crew I've been trying to do a steady supply of building. My favored primers are all spray cans, so we're getting to the part of the year where we need to button things up. The more I get built and primed now, the longer I can progress through the winter.

That said, sometimes the urge strikes you to do something different. I had such a great time with the Orks that I decided to knock out a few enemies for them to fight.
