Space Station Zero - Part 2

It's been a few weeks (months?), but my buddy and I finally got back to Space Station Zero. I'll try to keep things vague as not to spoil anything, but just in case you've been warned!

Thanks to my buddy Moths for the photos and a fun game!

So when last Captain Mogran's crew along with their slime guy allies explored the mysterious Space Station Zero, they had progressed to their third room. Based on a note on the doorway, we've denoted this room 13. It was a pretty crowded room of random industrial equipment, and crates. It looked like perhaps the crews could find some useful goodies... just as long as they could get past the guardians.

Terrain is looking good! ... Ignore that base coated tank.

Seems the room was guarded by a bunch of advanced robotic drones. In fact, they were better armed than the two crews. Sticking to cover a huge firefight ensued. One by one crew members went down, with the robots soaking all sorts of shots. The medical properties of the slime tried it's best to keep the crews on their feet, but it was looking rather hopeless...

"Stick to the junk boys"

It all came down to the two captains as the last "men" standing. Fortunately, Mogran was the best shot of the orks, and his crew had given him some boosts to his gun and armor. The slime captain backed him up with some decent shots, and from very small gaps in the cover, they finally dropped the last drone.

Two captains cooperating.

Unfortunately a couple of the slime crew didn't make it in the end, their wounds too severe to recover. The orks faired a bit better, walking off the wounds and patching themselves up.

Before moving on, the crews grabbed several advanced weapons from the room, including one of the advanced guns from a drone. Everyone agreed that should go to Mogran. There was only one door, and as the last ally moved through it, the door sealed and a hissing began. What did they walk into now...

  1. I've seen that many people are enjoying this game recently, and I've only read good things about it. I may have to give it a try!

    1. It's a lot of fun! A solo/co-op game with a rather light set of rules. It is tough though, so don't be too attached to your first crew. :)
